Notify me at launchA single bedsheet takes hundreds of individual impressions, each one placed by hand against the last. The blocks are carved from wood, the colour is mixed in small lots, and the cloth is washed and dried before it is cut and stitched.
That is why no two pieces match exactly. A slightly heavier print at one edge, a repeat that shifts by a hair — that is the hand, not a defect.
